Purpose

A practical bridge between Czech capability and Georgian commercial demand

Czech Trade in Georgia supports companies that need more than general country information. The focus is on concrete market-entry questions: who buys, which partner can deliver, where projects are developing, what commercial model is realistic and which local steps are needed to execute it.

The same platform also supports Georgian companies entering Czechia by researching buyers and channels, preparing the offer for EU-market expectations and building qualified commercial contacts.

What we do

Research, partner search, local representation and project development are connected services

A Czech supplier may begin with market research, continue with distributor or partner search and later require meetings, representation, public-project support or a Georgian operating company. An investor may need site and partner diligence. A Georgian exporter may need Czech buyer research, product presentation and local follow-up.

We keep these workstreams connected so research does not end as a report and introductions do not happen without a commercial rationale.

Tbilisi base

Local presence matters when the market requires repeated follow-up

Operating from Tbilisi makes it possible to follow local companies, projects, public information and business relationships between headquarters visits. It also provides a practical coordination point for meetings, visiting experts and regional project work.

Georgia is not only Tbilisi, so sector work may also involve Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Poti, regional municipalities and industrial locations depending on the customer or project.

Independence

Private initiative, transparent role

Czech Trade in Georgia is a private, independent business initiative operated from Tbilisi. It is not a governmental or diplomatic body and does not represent or imply endorsement by any public authority.

When a project involves ministries, municipalities, state-owned companies or procurement, our role is limited to lawful research, transparent contact, technical presentation and process coordination. We do not sell influence or privileged access.

Working standard

Business development should lead to real counterparties and verifiable opportunities

Market pages use primary statistical, legal and institutional sources where available, including Geostat, NAPR, the Revenue Service, Matsne, the State Procurement Agency and EU trade resources. Company-specific recommendations are then tested against actual products, pricing, buyer access and operating constraints.

The objective is useful business judgement: clear evidence where it exists, clear uncertainty where it does not and a practical next step for the company.
